The Canvas bag is designed as a mountain town daypack so rock it on a pre-work ski or your daily commute. It features one main compartment with a removable backpad, a lid pocket, internal mesh pocket, and security pocket. Charting in at 17 oz. and 25 liters, it fits a laptop, jacket and brown bag lunch, or enough gear and gluten for a short tour. But most importantly, take the Canvas pack anytime you feel the need to add a little color to the world.

The Canvas Series exists to bring a vibrant creativity to our customers while supporting the participating artists in their own adventure. When you purchase a Canvas pack, a portion of each sale goes directly back to the artist who drew/painted/illustrated your print. Keep in mind, these are custom and made to order so you’ll have to be patient with us while we sew your pack together.

Nikki Frumkin is a Swiss-American alpinist and artist living in Seattle, Washington. Her art is inspired by time spent hiking, climbing and mountaineering in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. You can often find her exploring in the mountains with her sketchbook and watercolors in hand. Sometimes she straps huge sheets of paper to the outside of her pack and other times she just sticks a pen and scrap of paper in her pocket.

Nikki tries to capture energy, light, weather and movement in her paintings. Her work combines pattern, vibrant color, and energetic lines to build a sense of place. Nikki Frumkin’s paintings have been exhibited in shows across the country. She also does art and design work within the climbing and outdoor industry.
